After rocketing to fame this June as the costar of the Disney Channel movie Camp Rock(opposite tween-dream troika theJonas Brothers), the 16-year-old Dallas native released her debut album. Don’t Forget made an impressive No. 2 Billboard bow, proving her to be a genuine double threat. ”Music comes naturally,” she admits. ”But acting is a mind challenge, and I have a huge passion for it.” With a Camp Rock sequel in development and both the original series Sonny With a Chance and the film Princess Protection Program due next year, it looks like 2009 could be even sweeter.

Demi Lovato is bee-utiful in this new still from her new show, Sonny with a Chance.

The 16-year-old actress is sure busy as a bee right now - being one of Entertainment Weekly’s Breakout Stars of 2008 and Seventeen mag’s Style Stars. She also stopped by the premiere of Twilight, where she rubbed elbows with Paramore’s Hayley Williams.

Sonny with a Chance follows a talented Midwestern girl who has won a nationwide talent search to move to Los Angeles and stars in a popular television series. The series will premiere on Disney Channel in February 2009.
